Luke has always adored the theatre. “Over several years a literal bus load of children could be found at the panto in Bath for my birthday each December. I saw The Crucible by Arthur Miller with my parents when I was about 11 which lit the fuse, I then saw a school production of Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me by Frank McGuinness when I was 13 and from there the interest took root.” You’ll usually find him at a show most Wednesday nights, often at his favorite London theatre, the Donmar, which he cites for its “high-quality” programming and Under 35s ticketing scheme.

A devoted lover of Duncan MacMillan’s People, Places, and Things, mentioning “the 1st and 4th times” he saw it as the most memorable…! And currently, his favorite playwright is Tom Stoppard: “His writing is playful, sometimes absurd, and self-effacing. I also find it to be rib-achingly funny. I just picked up my copy of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead to test this thesis, and by page 6 I’m gently chuckling to myself, just as I remembered.”
