Sophie loves The Public Theater in New York: “It’s beautiful and historic, and you can make an evening of it with a great meal at the restaurant downstairs.” Her ultimate theater date is her mom—the person who first got her hooked—and they often head to the little izakayas near Times Square for a cozy, lively pre-show bite.

The most unforgettable show she’s seen is Sarah Snook in The Picture of Dorian Gray — “Her performance was electric, layered, and so emotionally sharp. I still think about it.” She’s most excited to see Dylan Mulvaney in The Least Problematic Woman in the World at the Lucille Lortel Theater. “My dear friend works for its producing company Wessex Grove and brought me to the magical Vanya. Everything he touches is gold!”
